Real Estate Wiki is the combined effort of more than 20 people, coordinated by RealSure, to create a quality website for the real estate industry that would consist of a very broad spectrum of real estate information, facts and stats.
The site was lunched on January 15, 2007 with about 7,000 different pieces of real estate related. Since then the website has grown to over 30,000 pages of information to become the largest free online encyclopedia in and for the real estate industry.
Today there are over 3,000 definitions and terms, almost 1,000 abbreviations and acronyms, over 1,000 FAQ’s and answers to home buying, selling and financing, hundreds of bio’s of prominent real estate leaders, over 5,000 real estate professionals, hundreds of Realtor associations, institutes, councils, designations, schools, courses, books, blogs, social networks… the list goes.
But that’s just the beginning. We need your help to continue to improve and build encyclopedia for everyone.
There is no joining fee, no monthly fee and no advertising. It is 100% free. Anyone can contribute – you need not be a real estate professional. It only requires a simple log-on process to acquire a “wiki-signature” so that contributions and changes can be date stamped and monitored. Changes are made in real-time and appear almost instantaneously online.
