Era has over 15 years of experience across many facets of the Commercial and Residential Construction, as well as the Real Estate Industry.
Era has strong mathematical, financial, project management skills, specifically in Estimating of projects at the early pre-construction and conceptual phases through to construction documents. She is knowledgeable of all aspects of the Estimating process including detailed quantity take offs, preparing tender documents, obtaining price quotes, contractor bid analysis, financial cost analysis, budgeting , change order analysis, and coordinating and incorporating estimates from all involved disciplines.
She has been partner in a Construction Cost Consulting and Project Management company, and personally managed the development of various projects including Education K-12, Higher Education, Hospitality, Housing, Industrial, Retail, etc. Recently some of her clients have included a Real Estate Brokerage and various different Project Management and Professional Engineering and California-based Consulting companies.
Era holds a BS degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Pretoria as well as diplomas in computer science and interior decorating. She is also a licensed real estate agent in California.
