His academic accomplishments include two Bachelors of Science in Engineering with honors and a specialization in management from the University of California, Irvine. While at Irvine, Tinus also spent much of his time leading and managing two honor societies in Engineering, holding the positions of President, Vice President and Secretary. He also is the cofounder and media director of the Sustainable Energy in Technology Coalition at UC Irvine.
Tinus has always had an affinity for problem solving, creative design and for building things. Yet, as years have passed, his affinity for creation and construction (of mobile and immobile objects) has evolved into a focus on technology and business trends. Tinus has an inquisitive mind; he is always seeking to find better and more innovative ways to accomplish the task at hand and is quick to roll up his sleeves to get it done.
As the Research Manager for RealSure, Tinus focuses on the development and implementation of database management systems and is involved in various research avenues involving technology, social media, real estate trends, leadership, and management characteristics for business application.
